Koshish Bahadur Khadka (Nepali: कोशिश बहदुर खड्का ) (born December 22 in Butwal, Nepal) is an International Master Instructor and International Taekwondo Referee who has been professionally qualified with 5th Dan black belt holder from World Taekwondo Headquarter, South Korea in 2015 along with 3rd Class International Referee of World Taekwondo, South Korea in 2011.
Being dedicated in this particular field Mr. Khadka served long span of time as a professional player and got other various titles gradually from Assistant Instructor to Director and Chief Instructor since 1996 to till date within the country and in foreign land (Texas, USA) as well. Because of his hard work and perseverance, he has been awarded with “SUPRABAL GORKHA DAKSHIN BAHU” prize by His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Kathmandu in 1999.
He has got remarkable travel history within the native land and in other several countries like USA, South Korea, Japan, Australia and India for training, participation and for work experiences. A man with impeccable quality Mr. Khadka has got many professional achievements in national and international arena as a player, as a team coach/ manager and as a judge. He has got numerous gold medals in different events like in 8th SOUTH ASIAN GAMES 1999, held in Nepal, 23rd Fort worth International Taekwondo Championship 2003 in USA, in 10th, 11th, and 12th World Taekwondo Culture Expo Championship held in South Korea (2016-2018), and in many national competitions. He got silver medals and bronze medal too but being an efficient player, he retrieved with gold medals more.
Not only player titles, he has got awards and honourship as a team coach/manager in South Korea (2013 & 2015) as The World Taekeondo Hanmadang and 2nd WTF World Cdet Taewondo Championship respectively. Similarly, in 11th World expo. Taekwondo championship and Kimunyoung Cup International Taekwondo Championship in south Korea and in enumerable championships within Nepal also he has been awarded with. As a judge, he travelled USA twice in 2006 and also got honourship in Nepal in many championships.
In order to have such an amazing participation, one should be qualified and well-trained. Thinking this, he had taken multiple training course experiences within the country and outside the country. National Taekwondo Referee Seminar course(Nepal), 49th international Referee Seminar course(Sydney), 14th Taekwondo Foreign Instructor training course(south Korea), 7th National Taekwondo Referee Refresher course(Nepal) and 121 Kyorugi international Referee refresher course (India) are some of his course experiences. As being filled with the playing spirit, he has been associated to social activities too which shows a perfect sense of good sportsmanship. He was President of Siddhartha Taekwondo Development Committee in Bhairahawa, Nepal (2011 -till date), Central member of Nepal Taekwondo Association in KTM(2070- till date), Coordinator of 5 no. state, NTA in Butwal(2074-till date, Executive Member of Siddhartha Community Centre in Bhairahawa(2015-till date) and as a PRO of Rotary Club of same place (2016-2017). Undoubtfully, Mr. Koshish Bahadur Khadka has been a true sportsman of Nepal. We always wish his betterment.
