Sanjib Kumar Ojha (Nepali: सन्जिब कुमार ओझा) (born 14 April 1989 in Makwanpur Hetauda, Nepal) is a Nepalese taekwondo athlete. He is the 13th South Asian Game Gold medallist in the Poomsae category. In 2015 he won gold medal in the World Taekwondo Hanmandang in same category which was held in Pokhara, Nepal. Sanjib was at the time the reigning 3rd Bhutan Open International Taekwondo Champion in the poomsae category, winning gold for Nepal in 2016.
Ojha has started playing taekwondo at the age of eleven in Tehita Karra Taekwondo Dojang – Hetauda under coached by Mr. Madab Koirala. Since then, he had secured total of eight national championship titles, and won medals (seven golds and a silver) and total of five international championship titles, and won medals (three gold, a silver, and a bronze). Then since 2011 he has started to play for Nepal Army Club.
Ojha won his first senior title at the 6th Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Championship Kathmandu, Nepal in 2013. He won gold medal in poomsae category. At the 2019 1st Everst National Open Taekwondo Championship Ojha won a gold medal. Because of his hard work and determination, he has been awarded with “SUKRITI PADAK” prize by Honorable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2020 on the occasion of Constitution Day.
