Anu Adhikari (Nepali: अनु अधिकारी) (born 11th December 1994 in Nuwakot, Nepal) is a Nepalese karate athlete. She is the Gold medallist at the 13th South Asian Game 2019 held in Kathmandu, Nepal. In 2010 she won the silver medal at the 11th South Asian Game in Dhaka, Bangladeshi. In the final, she lost against Pakistan.

Adhikari has started playing karate at the age of eleven when she was at grade six in Balaju Karate Dojo – Kathmandu under coached by Mr. Dhurba Bikram Malla. Since then, she had obtained total of three national championship titles, and won medals (two golds and a silver). She was the Semi-finalist in 2018 at the 18th Asian Game which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has been in the national squad for the last 10 years under coached by Mr. Deepak Shrestha who is the Gold medallist at the 8th and 9th South Asian Game.
She has got amazing travel history in her early age within the home country and in other different countries like Japan, Australia, German, Austria, Korea, Thailand, UAE, Hungary, Indonesia, China, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, India and Malaysia for participation and training.
A lady with flawless quality Ms. Adhikari has got many professional achievements in national and international arena as a player. Due to her hard work and perseverance, she has been awarded with “Nepal Pratap Bhusan in 2017” and “Best of The Best Player of the Year 2018” (Nepal National and International Players Association Sports Award). Moreover, she has Nominated in Youth Player of the Year category of NSJF Pulsar Sport Award 2010.
Now a days she is busy in training for preparation of upcoming Tokyo Olympics in Japan. Ms. Anu Adhikari has better future in sports industry. We wish she will qualify for the Olympics.
